I am looking for a movie of the 70s or 80s involving an American being trained at martial arts by a Chinese?

At the beginning of the movie, the American fails at killing a frail Chinese because he moves so fast he avoids bullets. Then the American is trained, there's a kind of gymkhana set up for him in a hangar. He ends up having to do the routine blindfolded. In one chase scene, the American manages to run over freshly cast concrete without sinking his feet.


They end up going onto a military ground. In the final scene, the Chinese manages to run across the surface of the lake. What is the name of that movie????

...and ends, apparently. They never got around to making a sequel. Fred Ward starred in the title role. The Chinese guy was actually an American in makeup. (Joel Grey, who is Jennifer Grey's father... Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller).





Also - Chiun would be VERY upset at you for calling him Chinese. He is Korean, and tells Remo that the Korean is god's most perfect creature. lol !
